GGs CoLLAB (CSR Project)
Cross-border partnerships with different companies, institutions, social enterprises and non-governmental organizations to organize various projects of social significance and promotion of local social enterprise development and local production in cooperation with the business community. In response to customer requirements, Good Goods is responsible for the conceptual design, project promotion and execution details of projects and activities, and coordinates partners from different sectors.
We have had worked with different companies and organisations to organise a number of CSR projects in these years.
Give Me Five Social Enterprise Carnival 2021
During the Mid-Autumn Festival 2021, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service Social Enterprise Business Centre – Good Goods held the "Give Me Five Social Enterprise Carnival" at Sha Tin New Town Plaza, which is provided by New Town Plaza and co-organised by the Hong Kong Tsing Shan Lions Club, with more than 10 local social enterprises opening markets selling Mid-Autumn Festival food and a wide range of local handmade products. There are more than 10 local social enterprises in the "Give Me Five Social Enterprise Carnival", providing a series of Mid-Autumn Festival food and a variety of local handmade products, such as low-sugar healthy mooncakes, charity bazaar mooncakes, handmade baked goods such as cookies, snowflake crisps, etc., as well as a series of themed products that promote the concept of eco-friendly living and handmade products.
"Halloween & Kids" Activity
In 2021, Good Goods cooperated with Po Leung Kuk Madam Chan Wai Chow Memorial School for halloween activities, hoping to create a positive community for children and let disadvantaged children have more exposure to extracurricular activities. At the same time, it also achieves its CSR objectives and brings about meaningful and positive change in the community.
Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit– "Taste Life" Workshop
In 2020, Good Goods held a series of "Life" workshops, such as nursing food, Baduanjin, elderly experience, etc., and the response was very enthusiastic. One of the most popular is the Department of Caring Workshop, where professional instructors teach the process of caring for food, and also explain the importance and tips of caring for food.
Survey on the status and demand of soft meals for the elderly and people with disabilities
From May to July 2019, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service Business Centre conducted a "Survey on the Status and Needs of Soft Meals (Caring Food) for the Elderly and Disabled" to 193 individual carers and 161 residential carers to understand the needs of nursing caregivers with chewing or swallowing and the difficulties in preparing nursing food.
Summary of survey results
- 57% of individual carers and 48.4% of residential carers indicated that patients often do not want to eat based on poor food sales;
- 64.2% of individual carers want to improve food and materials but do not understand the relevant techniques;
- 62.1% of residential carers want to improve the quality of soft meals, but no one has the manpower or skills;
- 67.4% of personal carers want prepackaged carers to be provided in the market and 55.4% of personal carers want to serve caring food in restaurants;
- The reason why 63.4% of the residential carers did not have outsourced food care services was cost considerations first and foremost, 58.5% were food safety issues and 38.2% did not have suitable suppliers.

The theme of this activity is perseverance and discipline, and Thai Boxing activity allows children to cultivate the spirit of perseverance. Through cooperation with Cater's, Good Goods achieve the goal of serving the community.

Adhering to the spirit of innovation, Good Goods have designed CSR activities and employee experience programs for different enterprises, and introduced the concept of elderly technology into the plan, so as to promote the development of elderly technology and breakthroughs in elderly services.
